What You'll Learn
On This Program
We begin exactly where Easiest Swing believes learning should start: with experience, not instruction.
The group meets at midday before heading out onto the course for an afternoon 18-hole round. This allows participants to observe movement, behaviour, decision-making, tension, and belief patterns as they naturally appear — without interference.
That evening, the focus shifts to the psychology of performance. Through experiential exercises led by Philip, you’ll explore how the subconscious mind governs movement, why verbal instruction often interferes with performance, and how golfers unintentionally sabotage themselves before the shot is even played.
The day closes with a shared evening meal and informal discussion.
Includes copies of both Easiest Swing books for every attendee.
Day two is the intellectual and philosophical heart of the certification.
Through guided discussion, demonstration, and video analysis, we explore a core principle of Easiest Swing coaching:
Do you want to change someone’s swing — or change the belief that caused it?
You’ll learn how deeply held (often subconscious) beliefs shape movement, why telling golfers what to do rarely works long-term, and how challenging misconceptions can lead to immediate, lasting change — without instruction.
Key themes include:
Exposing hidden beliefs that interfere with movement
Why golfers swing the way they do
The difference between teaching and coaching
Why Easiest Swing avoids positions and embraces discovery
We examine the Three Deadly Don’ts — common myths that restrict movement and create tension — and how they directly undermine the Six Basics of Easiest Swing:
Turn, Weight Transfer, Rhythm, Balance, Coordination, and Souplesse.
The afternoon focuses on tension, freedom of movement, and learning to trust the body. Through partner exercises and practical demonstrations, you’ll feel the difference between restriction and release — without verbal instruction.
The day concludes with hands-on work using the Swing Caddy and Hole In One, showing how tools can help golfers learn through feel, rhythm, and observation rather than explanation.
The final day is about application — how everything learned translates into real coaching.
The morning begins on the driving range, applying Easiest Swing principles to ball striking, movement, and trust. We revisit the Three Deadly Don’ts and Six Basics in action, reinforcing how beliefs shape motion.
You’ll explore how golfers learn through observation and mirroring, why everyday language matters, and how even commonly accepted coaching terms can unintentionally create tension and confusion.
A dedicated short-game clinic follows, focusing on do’s, don’ts, and discovery — reinforcing the coaching mindset rather than technical correction.
The afternoon session centres on:
- Listening with intent
- Saying less, but saying what matters
- Helping students notice what feels better
- Encouraging learning rather than dependence
- Coaching with the student, not at them
The experience closes with a final group review, discussion on how this will shape your coaching going forward, and presentation of certification certificates.
The program concludes mid-afternoon.

Easiest Swing Philosophy
The Easiest Swing philosophy is built on a beautifully simple yet powerful idea: that golf should feel natural, flowing, and enjoyable — not rigid, tense, or overcomplicated. It’s about removing the strain and struggle so many golfers associate with the swing, and instead unlocking the rhythm, balance, and freedom that already live within us.
At the heart of this movement was Brian Sparks, a true pioneer and trailblazer in the world of golf coaching. With tens of thousands of hours spent coaching everyday golfers — not just elite players — Brian saw first-hand how traditional instruction often created more tension than progress. He challenged the status quo, daring to suggest that effort and complexity were getting in the way of real improvement and lasting enjoyment.
Through his groundbreaking book “Positive Impact Golf” and his widely watched videos, Brian helped countless golfers around the world rediscover the simple joy of swinging a club. His teachings proved that by focusing on natural movement, relaxation, and effortless rhythm, golfers of all ages and abilities could play better — and feel better — than they ever imagined possible.
The Easiest Swing isn’t just a framework. It’s a mindset. A return to the reason we all started playing golf in the first place: for the sheer pleasure of the game.
